Beginning of the Month and relearning to use Trello.

This month started in a positive way. The Pet Hub team blew me away with how eager everyone was when we were talking about what we could contribute for our Trello board this week. Ultimately, it took about two hours of us conversing and then we divided the work out amongst each other. This is where I come in, I chose to tackle the Pet Adoption Form entry. This will be my first time working with React. I was told that there are many videos available and to go do a little research and expect to add some HTML and CSS coding along with it.

After doing some research I decided to try out some of the code i had written. I was unable to get visual studio code to start the debugging process. Luckily, everyone was online, and we couldn't get it to work right away but, we got the debugger to display our webpage on a local port within the next day.

Now i can start coding and see what the results should look like.
Until then, I have spent the meantime creating our GitHub Readme file. I have discovered why the GitHub readme file extension is md. It stands for "markdown". Its a markup language for text formatting. Similar to CSS. I have found many articles on what is expected and what kinds of things a good readme file should have. I have created a rough draft of the readme and posted in our discord.

-Moving Forward
Today is Wednesday. My "beginnerness" is showing so much but, i am learning a lot as i go. I had been working on getting my trello card done. I wanted to have time to look over the code and polish it before Thursday I need to make an application form using react langue to code in. I had been running into problems all day and finally got some help with getting my branches together and started to debug.

-Moving Forward , Thursday

Our Capstone project meeting with our instructor was an eye opener. He mentioned that we should treat our project like a quarter of million-dollar project. We needed to have a more traditional approach to our app development. He suggested Agile and Sprint planning to get us started. At that point i was asked about what it was that I contributed to the project, and I told him that I was just filling in things here and there and I also was taking care of the writing aspects of the project. He appointed me as the project manager at that point. I did some research around the web and figured out a plan that we should follow in the nect couple weeks that will give us a product that looks quality and professional.

As this week went smoothly, I remember our instructor telling us how our blog posts should go. I need to identify a roadblock and figure out a solution for a roadblock that is holding the rest of the project back and learn how to pivot our work and get something functional out at the end of the day. This clears up the fogginess i was having when I was trying to create a clear understanding for myself when i think about what needs to be done for our project so, in turn, this was my roadblock, and my solution was figuring out a sprint plan. we need to follow that and have an understanding of what needs to be done.
